Analysis of Silicides Inclusions in Brass

The example demonstrates selection of objects on an image, their classification (small inclusions are separated from large ones) according to projection size and measurement of objects' parameters.

The image of an unetched brass specimen is acquired from a microscope. Image contains the metal base and columnar silicide crystals oriented in parallel with the deformation axis.
