Quality Analysis of Bulk Nanotube Material (AFM)

Analyzed image:
The solution processes 3D images of the bulk nanotube material samples. 3D information is acquired directly from AFM data files using SIMAGIS® AFM™ interface.

Problem solved:
The software automatically identifies and classifies nanotubes and other nano-particles in the tested sample and then analyzes nanotube lengths while recognizing the intersections, contacts and curvature of the tubes. The solution features also include the ability to filter objects according to selected length and height.

The module includes convenient tools for the manual correction of automated analysis steps.

The solution works with the SIMAGIS® image management database that allows the user to catalog samples, produce aggregate statistics across multiple batches and manage sample analysis process across organization using a secure user web portal.

For each sample, the following statistical parameters are available:

	Nanotube Length
	Nanotube Height
	Height/Length Ratio
	Curvature
	Nanotube / Nanorope Ratio
	Purity Ratio of polluting particles (catalyst and other inclusions)

The application features and provided results are customizable to fit specific user needs.
