Smart Imaging Technologies Secures Venture Funding by Aegis Texas Venture Fund

Smart Imaging Technologies Co. ("SIT"), the provider of SIMAGIS®, "Smart Imaging Spreadsheet" software for scientific and industrial image analysis, has secured funding by Aegis Texas Venture Fund, LP ("Aegis").

The Company, which has established the leading position in nanoscale image analysis, will use the funds to expand its sales and marketing operations to capitalize on growth opportunities in the nanotechnology, biotechnology, and material science fields.
