Particle Analysis of Granular Materials

Problem solved: 
Determination of particle sizes and volume distributions for various fractions obtained by the analysis of powder particles.

Solution:
The initial image is preprocessed to remove defects and make particles sharp. The mask of particles is revealed using the set of operations. The revealed mask is then processed and the parameters of the particles are determined.

Determined parameters:

	Number of particles
	Average particle size, mm
	Minimal particle size, mm
	Maximal particle size, mm
	Particle size distribution
	Particle volume distribution

The combined report is built based on the analysis results. Data can be exported to the database.
