Analysis of stomata in the epidermis of the plant leaves

Determination of stomata density and areas is one of the most often procedures in qualitative anatomy of plants. Qualitative parameters of stomata are tightly linked with leaf gas exchange efficiency, which determines intensity of many physiological processes. Number of stomata in the unit of leaf are can characterize ecological features of plant species.
